Prices for the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 have gone up by almost Rs. 9,000 over the BS4 model. Bajaj has yet to announce prices for the Pulsar 150 Neon.

Bajaj Auto Limited has launched the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 which now meets the Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission regulations. The BS6 Pulsar 150 is available in a standard disc brake variant, as well as a twin disc brake variant, and now comes equipped with fuel injection system. The FI system has been designed in-house at Bajaj Auto's state-of-the-art R&D centre, and is said to ensure seamless power delivery, feather-touch start and optimum fuel efficiency. The BS6 version of the Pulsar 150 will be available in two colours - Black Chrome and Black Red.

The Pulsar 150 BS6 version with front disc brake is priced at ₹ 94,956 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), and the twin disc variant is priced at ₹ 98,835 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The BS6 variant of the Pulsar 150 is ₹ 8,998 more expensive than the BS4 model. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the highest-selling 150 cc motorcycle in India, and Bajaj also offers a Pulsar 150 Neon

The Pulsar 150 continues to be powered by the same 149.5 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve, single overhead cam (SOHC) engine, but the state of tune has changed with the addition of fuel injection. While the BS6 variant has the same 13.8 bhp maximum power output, it's now achieved higher in the rev range, with the motor spinning to 8,500 rpm from 8,000 rpm. Peak torque has fallen marginally, from 13.4 Nm to 13.25 Nm, and is achieved at 500 rpm higher, at 6,500 rpm. Kerb weight has also gone up by 5 kg to 148 kg. So far, Bajaj has not announced prices for the entry-level and low-priced Neon variant of the Pulsar 150 in the new BS6 version.
